Mike Sullivan and Geoff Brown obtained summary disposition on behalf of a lawyer client sued for defamation in the Oakland County Circuit Court.  The lawyer issued a press release in connection with pending litigation.  The opposite party in that action sued, asserting that the press release was inaccurate, and therefore defamatory.  Mike and Geoff pointed out that not only was the press release accurate, but it was also absolutely privileged.
