Practice Description

Noreen has practiced in the state and federal appellate courts since 1980.  Noreen's emphasis is on the defense of medical and legal malpractice actions, insurance coverage disputes, and the defense of catastrophic personal injury cases. She chaired the Appellate Practice Section of the State Bar of Michigan in 1999-2000, and is a frequent author, editor, and lecturer on a variety of procedural and substantive legal issues. Michigan Lawyers Weekly regularly seeks commentary from Noreen on topics ranging from tort reform to judicial appointments, frequently quoting her in front page stories.  Named a 2006 Michigan Super Lawyer by Law and Politics magazine.  Noreen is one of the 13 Michigan lawyers named as Michigan's best appellate lawyers, according to "The Best Lawyers in America" 2007 list.
