Practice
Description
Rick
concentrates on complex, multi-party litigation in the areas of medical
malpractice defense, professional liability defense, and employment law.
Rick has served as lead defense counsel on jury and bench trials in
Oakland, Wayne, Macomb and Otsego Counties, as well as medical
malpractice arbitrations. He was also involved in the first Michigan
case to address the scope of application of the medical malpractice
"cap" on non-economic damages. Rick is active in a number of
organizations devoted to health care risk care management, including
serving on a committee devoted to legislative affairs.
